Management
Our owners and investors have years of experience in cannabis cultivation and manufacturing, along with service and retail in other sectors. We believe through proper operation planning and management practices our success in other business will help us succeed in this areas well. We take great pride and responsibility in the ability to utilize our current licenses to control operations from seed to sale as this will require us to be more efficient and involved in every aspect from seed to sale. Our entire management team will be aware of what it takes from start to finish allowing them to recognize inefficiencies and develop suggestions to adapt and grow with the market.
PK Industries was conceptualized by Jason Ramsey in 2016, and he has been working ever since to build a team that can overcome any challenge that the market brings. Our team at PK Industries consists of expert cultivators (ALL types of cultivation), professionals with experience in licensing, compliance, and business operations, and top cannabis lawyers.
Below are short bios on the PK Industries team that will show the wealth of knowledge that will be representing this business:
Jason Ramsey, referred to herein as Ram, has been cultivating marijuana since 1997. He began with indoor hydroponic cultivation and is highly qualified in all methods of cultivation. Ram has grown over 100 different genetics in the past 20 years, including several CBD strains in the past few years. Ram has been working with a team of master cultivators since 2009 and managing indoor, outdoor, and greenhouse cultivation sites. Ram also created Koasati Cannabis:
http://koasaticannabis.com in 2016. Koasati provides connoisseur grade cannabis products and prides itself on purity, quality and consistency. Koasati has been able to overcome an industry wide issue affecting cannabis product manufacturers and consistently delivers clean, solvent-less, pesticide free cannabis oil.
Scott Watters is the key strategy maker for PK Industries. He has been involved in the financial industry for over 25 years. For the last seven years, he has specialized in venture capital and deal structure. Scott has put PK Industries in front of many investors, and he has been the lynchpin to success in materializing the PK Industries concept. Scott was responsible for bringing Tikun Olam USA to the table and expertly negotiated a cultivation contract and terms to achieve a permanent licensing agreement that will provide a strong source of revenue for years to come.
Elisabeth Ramsey holds a B.S. in Business Administration from The University of Texas at Dallas. She brings seven years of experience in financial compliance after working for the West Coast office of FIRE Solutions/NRS. FIRE Solutions/NRS is a leading provider of compliance and education products and services to the broker-dealer community. Elisabeth has been instrumental in helping the PK team navigate the ever-changing challenges of complying with the new California cannabis laws.
Matthew Ramsey is a U.S. Army Veteran where he served for over seven years as an Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal officer. He holds a B.S. in Finance and minors in Economics and Accounting. For the past year and a half Matt has been in charge of planning deployment schedules, training requirements, and regulatory compliance for 22 military organizations consisting of 1,100 soldiers and civilians dispersed over eight geographical locations. He is a dynamic leader and strategic planner with a proven ability to build highly motivated teams focused on complex problem solving. Matt brings a reputation of hard work and loyalty, as well as the experience and initiative to work in business operations, compliance, and political involvement.
Brady Alexander has been working in the legal cannabis industry since 2006, and he will be the lead manager for the Santa Rosa facility. He has achieved excellent results streamlining various businesses. He brings expert knowledge in OSHA/EPA compliant pest control, nutrient scheduling, facility design, creating workflow, drying, curing, advance pruning techniques, and establishing a soil food web. Brady currently work as the Head Grower for the Denver Kush Club where he established crop management schedules and timelines, reduced crop input consumption by 20%, and increased crop yield by 100% per square foot. He holds an advanced certification in the METRC and bio track plant tracking systems and is qualified to teach others the system.
